Shipping & Delivery Terms
These Shipping & Delivery Terms govern your use of www.elitepowertools.co.ke (“Website”) operated by Elite Power Tools (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
At Elite Power Tools.co.ke, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely satisfied with our shipping or delivery services, we’re here to help.
Delivery Fees
At Elite Power Tools, we strive to ensure timely and reliable delivery of your orders. Delivery charges are applied as follows:
- A standard flat rate of KES 500 applies for medium or non-bulky packages countrywide.
- For heavy or bulky packages, delivery charges will be quoted and agreed before purchase and delivery
- Orders above KES 250,000 may qualify for reduced or no delivery charges within Nairobi, depending on delivery requirements.
Proof of Delivery
Any delivery note (either a copy or original) signed by the Customer or their authorized representative or nominated agent, and held by Elite Power Tools, shall be considered conclusive proof of delivery to the Customer.
Partial Deliveries
Elite Power Tools may, with the Customer’s prior consent (which shall not be unreasonably withheld), deliver goods in separate shipments or on different dates, at its discretion.
Third-Party Transport by Customer
If the Customer arranges for third-party transport of the goods, the Customer shall indemnify Elite Power Tools against any claims or issues arising from such arrangements or their execution.
Third-Party Transport by Elite Power Tools
Elite Power Tools may, at its discretion, engage a third party to deliver the goods to the Customer’s designated address. The Customer shall bear all associated transport and delivery costs.
Special Delivery Requests
If the Customer requests a more expensive method of delivery than the standard option used by Elite Power Tools, a written request must be submitted. Upon approval, the Customer will be invoiced and held liable for any additional delivery costs.
Delivery Delays
Elite Power Tools does not guarantee delivery on a specific date or time. The Customer shall not hold Elite Power Tools responsible for any losses resulting from reasonable delays beyond our control. Orders may not be canceled based on such delays.
Inspection Upon Receipt
The Customer is responsible for inspecting goods upon receipt to ensure they meet the ordered specifications in terms of quality, quantity, and condition.
Any discrepancies (e.g., damages, short deliveries) must be reported within two (2) business days of receipt.
Evaluation, Approval, or Consignment Goods
Goods taken on evaluation, approval, demonstration, or consignment will be deemed sold if not returned in perfect condition (including original packaging, accessories, and manuals) within seven (7) working days from the date of issue.
